Pu-erh, sometimes referred to as Bolay, is a variety of post-fermented tea produced in Yunnan province, China. This production style involves having the leaves undergo an additional fermentation process after they are dried. The brew gives a dark hue with an earthy smooth flavor.
This tea is produced in Yunnan and is named after the province in which it used to be known as a popular trading post. Pu-erh is available as loose leaf as well as in "brick" or compressed forms. Our Pu-erh leaves are broad and full for an even infusion.
