The Se Chung Oolong tea has a shorter fermentation time than other Oolongs from Fujian province. This results in a more subtle Oolong character. The cup is a light golden amber and gives a long lovely fragrance without a strong fired taste.
Origin: Wuyi Mountains - Fujian Province, China. Oolong means semi fermented. Though similar to black teas, Oolong teas are given a much shorter withering period, lightly rolled, and allowed to ferment only until the edges of the leaves start to turn brown.
